TITLE: A Quantum dot technology platform for color-conversion and IR sensing

 

QustomDot contributes to expanding visibility, by bringing unmatched colors to displays and providing the active component for low-cost SWIR sensors. They develop a multi-facet nanotechnology which can be easily printed called quantum dot technology. Quantum dots (QDs) are tiny semiconductor nanoparticles that can transform high energy light into electronic current or pure lower energy light. By controlling the QD size and composition, QustomDot is able to tune the absorption and emission of the materials. The QustomDot team combines QD synthesis, surface engineering and QD ink/photoresist formulation into (patterned) QD layers, either for color conversion in microLED displays or SWIR sensors.
